I want to live in poverty?

I have this strange, romantic view of living in poverty, with nothing and no one. Something about it appeals to me. Maybe it's that I want to live without any constraints of society (specifically money) holding me hostage. I know I could never live this way, at least for very long, but it's something I want to try. Any thoughts??
