Fringe Season 3 Finale...WTF?

ikr! im totally with u.... IT DIDNT MAKE Sence! Walter couldnt have crossed over... he would be dead. But Peter is alive.... so they didnt exist because Walter went back with Peter. But i think that its original timeline would have been just that.... (they could have been right!?) because time is funny like that; it knows what going to happen next. So, the Machine would have been there all along, and if not then they would have come up with it anyway. but, how does war not exist?! that would be imopssible they aren't in the like 1600's or whatever they are in 2011!
