Facing a dilemma, help please?

I have been talking to this guy for a month now, he is 35(2 kids,doctor,divorced) and i am 27(3 kids,student), he shows interest sometimes, but haven’t asked me out or anything; therefore i decided to ask him out, so he messaged me when he left from his friend’s house, saying that, he is driving home. i texted him back saying i want to ask you something imp,msg me when you get home, so he msged me when he got home( we are home), we talked about kids, his studies, other stuff, so finally when he said whats your question, i asked him a question regarding BSN course :-| , until i didn’t ask him my question he was showing interest in the conversation, as soon as i asked him my lame question, his interest level went down and he went to sleep. :(, i am not even sure if he likes me like that. i feel why would he want to even waste him time on a girl who have 3 kids. i just feel he is way too good for me. What should i do? and is it ok for a girl to ask a guy out. plus he is white and i am from india. I feel that he maybe into blonde girls,blue eyes.
